Duo Orfeo (Guitarduo)

Christian Wernicke and Christian Kütemeier, both of whom hold several international prizes, have been playing together as Duo Orfeo since 2004 just after they won the most important competition for young musicians in Germany, the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb. Thereafter, they held numerous concerts and were highly applauded by the press and public alike. The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited them to be ambassadors of German culture at the International Festival of Culture in Assilah, Morocco. Following their performance there, the Goethe Institute sent them on a concert tour of Chile. Thus, they have quickly become one of Germany’s most elite guitar duos.

Duo Confluence (flute & guitar)

„Confluence“ is the „flowing together“ of emotions, characters, ideas, stimulating experiences of two independent musical personalities. Their name is their concept and the resulting forces are fascinating. Both musicians are located in Heidelberg and have received multiple international awards. They know how to bring these confluent spirits to life in their concerts through their energetic performance, rich in nuances and with passionate commitment. According to the press wherever they are on stage their performances impress through intelligent colourful playing. The simbiotic agreement between the soloists can clearly be felt. The duo has been singled out for its technical brilliance, musical insight and stylistic elegance.
